CEW live jams have become a bit of an institution in Castlemaine since the lockdown restrictions started to lift last year and have become the flagship of CEW. It’s a great way to find out more about your gear, what it can do and to bounce creatively off one another in a live improvisation.

There are no limits to the input of styles or themes played but the jam starts to really flow when all of the players will agree to pick a key and elaborate and improve in their own way to the flow.

CEW welcomes new members so get along to one of their events and introduce yourself (and ask whatever questions you like!). They might look like a serious bunch but they're really just having fun. Often to be seen at the Northern Arts Hotel.
