Made up of four groups of images, A Curse in my House, A River in my House, A Body of Water and Secret House, the work explores the theme of haunted houses and haunted selves. Each piece is a ghost story, each group of work overlapping the other thematically, telling of ghosts (hauntings), floods (water) and curses (secrets).

The finished works are created using digital composites that are manipulated, often with little attempt to hide the junctions and fissures. As such, accustomed as we are to reading photographs as true, the houses feel both right and wrong at the same time, disquieting.

The imagery invites the viewer to linger, to sit with the disconcerting and the buried, and to weave their own stories of growth, decay, loss, flood, and traces of lives passed.
