Taproom favourites Angie & the Doc play earthy, traditional, blend of country folk and bluegrass.
Angie & the Doc have made a name for themselves around Central Victoria playing an earthy, traditional, blend of country folk and bluegrass, inspired by the duo’s mutual love for Southern gospel, and have moved into a more contemporary sound incorporating various elements of American roots music.
Underpinned by Doc’s characteristic finger-picking skills and Angie driving the rhythm on the bass, this duo is made distinctive by their close harmony singing and perfectly matched vocals. There is an unmistakable chemistry between Angie & the Doc, as though they have been singing together for a lifetime.

The Taproom serves delicious craft beer brewed on-site, along with local ciders, wine, house-made pizza, snacks and share plates plus live music and regular events. Opened in April 2016 at the Mill complex in northern Castlemaine, the Taproom is open six days a week serving delicious beverages, yummy food and beaucoup conviviality. Our pizza menu is available in-house Tuesday from 5pm. The expanded pizza, share plate and platters menu is available Wed-Fri from 2pm and Sat/Sun/Pubhols* from 12pm. * 10% surcharge applies on public holidays when we pay our staff higher rates
