A competition like no other, spectators can expect brilliant singing and performances by local legends, and legends in the making. Each contestant will have a professional band to back them, and, as always, a crowd full of enthusiastic supporters in the audience.

Held at lot19 Art Space – a not-for-profit creative space and events venue committed to supporting local talent and the Mount Alexander Community – Castlemaine Idyll is an uplifting, collaborative community event which brings joy and connection to a wide cross section of our community.

No BYO, no pets, no idiots.

Please note, this year we are continuing the “sliding scale” of ticket prices. Castlemaine Idyll is not only a ridiculously fun event, but it is also a major fundraiser for the community art and performance space that is lot19. If you are in a position to pay a higher ticket price, we appreciate that gesture immensely as it not only supports lot19, but helps ensure that Castlemaine Idyll returns again each year.
