Gardens of Colourful Connections: Multi-block lino printmaking – Second workshop
Event Details
Inspired by the Gardens of the Imagination exhibition at the Hub during September, garden images and elements will be used to stimulate your creativity.
At the workshop, you will experiment with water-based block inks and mediums and learn safe lino print practices: the use of tools and both hand printing & book press printing processes. A special focus will be multi-block lino printmaking.
You will create a selection of artworks on paper to take home. Bring some postcard size images – drawings or other images as a basis for your work. Please consider copyright when choosing images. Susan will bring a range of resources for further inspiration. All materials supplied including lino, paper, inks and tools.
No experience necessary. Please bring an apron and wear covered shoes, and don’t forget your mask.
