Maldon Folk Festival is a family friendly music festival, held annually for more than four decades.
Experience the legendary festival atmosphere, showcasing an abundance of music, and dance in the historic, National Trust Classified Maldon township. Check out the full list of amazing local and international acts here.
Each year we provide a long weekend of quality folk, bluegrass, a little jazz, and a little blues music, and dance and interactive workshops at affordable prices, to suit all age groups. All venues are walking distance from the centre of town and have access for people with a disability.

Host Details
Old Bank Corner is situated on the corner of High and Main Streets, and was transformed into a public park in 2021.
It is the central gathering space for all Maldon High Street events.
The vibrant outdoor space was fitted with trees, bench-style seating, low tables and upcycled planter boxes to provide a safe, outdoor space for the community to meet.
Castlemaine business The Salvage Yard used reclaimed materials for the site, which included locally sourced steel tanks from Baringhup and timber from the Castlemaine–Maldon rail line.
Since being established, Old Bank Corner has been host to a number of free, family-friendly gigs by local musicians and theatre companies, and in 2021 was awarded ‘Best Regional Main Street’ in the Mainstreet Australia Awards.
