| Castlemaine is well-regarded as an artistic hub, with a town full of practicing artists. Each winter and summer the historic Market Building hosts the Market Building Art Exhibition to showcase just how much talent there is in the region.
As a visitor you can explore this nationally significant 1862 building while viewing art from more than 80 local artists. There’ll be paintings, photographs, prints, jewellery, glassware, ceramics, sculpture and much more. All artwork is for sale, so you might even wish to take home a momento of your visit. |
